Saturday P.M. -- North Carolina Relief
Our teams are preparing and delivering meals across Western North Carolina all weekend, reaching into some of the most devastated communities.
What we are seeing is desperately sad. Everyone up here needs all the help they can get. Water, power, and food remain critical issues. As our team was delivering meals in one community, we saw people collecting water out of the drainage area alongside a broken road.
Thankfully, our team had drinking water on hand and we gave it to these folks.
It's hard to describe just how difficult the conditions are.
Mercy Chefs is doing everything in our power to reach the most people in the best possible ways right now. This weekend alone, we'll serve tens of thousands of meals.
I'm asking again because the need is so great...
Will you stand in the gap with us for our neighbors in Western North Carolina who are suffering in the midst of one of the worst natural disasters we have ever seen? Go here to sponsor hot meals for Helene victims while we continue other vital outreaches:
Thank you for your prayers for these families. And thanks for your continued partnership and support.
God bless you richly,
Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
