This is one of those moments when we need every Mercy Chefs friend.
In Houston, the need remained incredibly high over the weekend. We have maxed out at 15,000 meals daily Friday through Sunday. And the requests for help have continued to come in.
We're finding incredible pockets of need, like a low-income housing community that was without power for days. There are 500 children in this one housing development and most families lack the ability to drive to find a meal.
Our Mercy Chefs team showed up just in time, right as the need became critical. Click on the image below for that amazing story:

P.S. We have continued to serve those in Grenada who were devastated by Hurricane Beryl. The logistics on this island nation have been overwhelming.
